It seems to be machine specific because if he sends the PowerPoint file to another user, the 8pt font looks normal. Microsoft Word works just fine when viewing smaller fonts. This happens with multiple different fonts and seems to only happen in PowerPoint. If he receives a PowerPoint file from another user, the fonts will also be distorted if it is using 8pt and below. If he increases the size, the fonts look normal. Any time he uses a font with 8pt size, the font looks distorted. I have a client in the office that is having an issue with fonts when they view or create PowerPoint files. This issue is with a MacBook Pro (10.7.5) running Office 2011.
